Thursday June 9th

Tonight we played the Bigger or better game.  Let me further explain this.  We split up into ten different teams. Each team consists of a girl room and a boy room.  Together we venture off to an assigned neighborhood.  We begin with a paper clip and walk around from house to house asking if they want to trade something bigger or better than the item we have.  The hope is that by the end you have something much greater than a paper clip.  After three hours we join with all the other teams and the leaders judge who has the best item.  We started with a paper clip and ended with a grill ( that still works and is very nice ), two suitcases, and two lamps.  On our journey Kari got hit by a flying pine cone that Greg threw up in the air.  It was so hilarious,  I feel like Kari is always the one to get hurt.  This is how we got from A to Z in the game.  . . paper clip, quarter, plate, candy, lasagna box, cypress knees, a huge wine bottle, suitcases with photographs in it, old lamps, and finally the grill.  We were so stoked on what we got because we can use the grill to barbeque at project.  Other people came back with all sorts of odds and ends like toys, dryers, televisions, grills, and even people!  It was a blast!  The best part was just the anticipation and curiosity about what each person would dig up out of their home to trade you.
