Wednesdays and Sundays are the two days we get a little free time so I decided to spend it in the word, journaling, and writing letters. I spent way too much time in the sun ( If there is such thing : P ) enjoying the salty ocean water and I got myself nice sunburn and tan lines. I guess that is what I get for not putting sunscreen on. We got the boogie boards out and I tried it for the first time. It is so much fun, especially trying to catch the waves at exactly the right moment when they begin to crash. The waves just take you up to shore. It feels like you are floating on top of the water, the ocean is so powerful, it is crazy! Today was the first day we did beach evangelism. It was a little scary at first just because spiritual beliefs are such a touchy subject in our culture, but I understand the importance of spreading the freedom Christ brings us. Since I have accepted Christ into my heart I have had this huge desire to spread the word with anyone and everyone. It is such good news, I can't hold it in for only me. The first person we approached wasn’t very receptive, but the second one was. Think of how many lives have the potential to be altered and transformed because 100 of us have dedicated an hour to spread the gospel. After sunset we walked a few blocks down to the arcade and Pier. There were men who made flowers out of palms it was very neat! Who knew. This part of town has so much energy and it is full of young people. There are coffee shops, gift shops, rides, and ice cream. Yep I love it. Nuff said =)

The last thing Christ said before his accension to heaven, after his resurrection, was to spread the word all the way to the distant part of the earth - he also said that his true followers would be identified by this preaching work in the Last Days. I'm so glad to see you participating in it - it's a completely unselfish activity that brings blessings! Can't wait to hear more about your experiences!
