Kari, Laura, Jesamine, and I were excited to sleep in this morning. We woke up a little bit before ten. Laura is our legendary coffee maker, so we asked her if she would oblige us with her talent. Being the generous young lady she is she gladly said yes. A few minutes later, I noticed that there was coffee shooting out of the coffeemaker. I could tell Kari found it entertaining to watch the way Laura and I were going to conquer this leak. Laura came to the conclusion theres a crack somewhere so we have to always turn the handle to the left. This understanding must have come from all her long hard hours of experience at Caribou Coffee…. Go ghetto coffee pot!
Next, Kari and I went for a walk along the shore with our cameras at hand ready for any unexpected scenes we wanted to shoot. We saw numerous small brown crabs. They were difficult to see because of the way they blended with the sand. After taking a ton of pictures of seashells, boats, condos, people, crabs, and waves, we turned around because I needed to get back for a Bible Study with my new friend Remya. I met her on Wednesday through beach evangilism. She was in my group. Remya is a sweet girl from India with a lot of knowledge. I feel like we could talk for hours and hours and I would still be just as attentive as I was at the beginning, she is such an interesting unique person that I am looking forward to growing closer with.
New thought : =) Isn’t it a curse and blessing at the same time that something as simple as a song can take you back in a flash to a specific place in time. It may be a place in time that you thought you had forgotten then suddenly it hits you. I think this is one of the reasons I love music so much. So much in fact that I thought of this idea to bring my I touch with me on the weekends when I am working alone in claims. It will keep me somewhat entertained. I also brought my bible and started reading out of the book of John. I stumbled upon the verse Hebrews 11:1 & 3 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
